Diocesan Bishop
The Northern Diocese is one of the two dioceses of the Free Church of England. We are a family of congregations, spread over the north of England.
The Free Church of England is the ‘other’ Church of England. For over 150 years we have provided a home for Anglicans and others who desire a Church that preaches the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Scriptures, whose worship is according to a Scripturally rooted liturgy, and whose ministry and structures are those of the undivided Church.
